Chiropractic Wellness Care in Kansas City
Wellness chiropractic care in Kansas City is optional, low-frequency care after a specific problem has settled. Many of our patients started with one complaint and chose to keep coming in for regular check-ins and adjustments that help them keep moving well. When your issue resolves, we say so; if you want to stop there, that is fine, and you can come back when something flares up.

Our approach
Most wellness patients come in about once a month. Some prefer every 6 weeks or once a quarter, and some athletes only come in during heavy training or before a competition. We do not prescribe a set schedule, and we never put anyone on a three-times-a-week-forever plan. Each visit is a check-in on how you have been feeling, a quick posture and movement check, an adjustment where it is needed, and any exercise or desk-setup changes worth making.
Frequently asked questions
Do I really need ongoing chiropractic care?
No, you do not need to. Wellness care is for patients who have found that regular visits help them feel and move better. If you are young, active and have no symptoms, you probably do not need it. If you try it for a few months and notice no difference, stop.
Is wellness chiropractic evidence-based?
This is genuinely debated. Research supports chiropractic care for specific problems such as back pain, neck pain and some headaches. Research on ongoing preventive care is less robust. Some patients find clear value in it and some do not, so we leave the choice to you.
How often is too often?
For most people, once a month is plenty for wellness purposes, and many do well every 6 weeks or once a quarter.
Do I have to keep coming forever?
No. You can stop wellness care at any time. Many patients come regularly for a year or two, take a break, and come back when they want to.
Will insurance cover wellness visits?
Most insurance covers care for active complaints, not maintenance. Wellness visits are typically self-pay at our standard rate.
