To All of My Patients: What a wild few weeks!
Hey All! Goodness- what a few weeks it has been. I have been working on ‘my first blog post’ for the last several weeks- endless edits, deletes, and revisions. That said, I meet you with a new set of circumstances that have dominated the headlines and my thoughts over the last few weeks. So we’ll start from scratch again- away we go.
I decided to leave a comfortable, sound workspace of CWC months ago in pursuit of something greater. I have always had a passion for promoting health, self-help, and wellness, in a way that I could both understand, and convey to my patients. My ultimate goal was to be able to open my own chiropractic clinic. This was certainly a tall task, as I have spent countless hours working to assure that my dream would become a reality. Talks with insurance companies, banks, real-estate brokers… the list goes on. But, through the help of a great team of people surrounding me, I ‘took the leap,’ and left my job of nearly seven years to chase my passion of opening a top-tier chiropractic clinic I intend on doing just that. I’m proud to present my new Chiropractic Clinic: Form Chiropractic KC, to you.
My new clinic, Form Chiropractic KC will open late March. While I have my personal stresses about the opening of the business during the pandemic of COVID-19- I can’t stress enough that I am taking every precaution outlined by the CDC to ensure our clinic is staying healthy before returning to work. I/We will be cancelling appointments if we show any signs of illness. I would urge you to do the same- with no cancellation fees for illness.
At Form Chiropractic KC, your health and safety remain my priority. I have been closely following updates from the CDC, WHO, and Missouri/Kansas state health departments. We will take care to monitor the cleanliness of our new clinic, and will further enhance disinfecting protocols between patients. We will thoroughly disinfect doorknobs, chiropractic equipment, and shared surfaces between patients. We will be sanitizing our hands, chiropractic equipment, and treatment tables between each patient encounter.
I ask that you help keep our community safe by cancelling future appointments if you:
Had recent travel within the last month- especially of particular concern
Have had or suspect having exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Experiencing symptoms of cough, bronchitis, respiratory infection, sore throat, fever, nausea, fatigue, vomiting
I will continue to book new and existing patients for as long as it is safe to do so and will provide you with clinic-based updates as needed. I appreciate your help and understanding in the matter. Please do not hesitate to reach me directly should you have any questions or concerns at 620-926-0873.
Yours in Health,
-Dr. Tyler Smith
